Who We Are

At Turnstone, we believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and fully participate in the world around them. Our team is dedicated to helping children with autism, ADHD, and developmental disabilities build the skills they need to navigate daily life with greater independence and confidence.

As a behavior therapist, you will be at the heart of this mission—working directly with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills that can unlock their potential and transform their future.

Who You’ll Work With

Many of the children we support face real challenges in their daily lives. They may struggle to communicate their needs, connect with others, or handle the sensory and social demands of the world. Without the right support, everyday tasks—like following a routine, playing with peers, or asking for help—can feel overwhelming.

That’s where you come in. Through consistent, compassionate, and research-based strategies, you’ll help children develop the essential skills that allow them to:

  • Express themselves and communicate their needs—reducing frustration and strengthening connections with family and friends.
  • Gain independence in daily activities, from getting dressed to following classroom routines.
  • Understand and navigate social situations, so they can engage and build meaningful relationships.
  • Feel safe, confident, and successful in their environment.

Your work as an RBT can change the trajectory of a child’s life, giving them the tools to engage more fully with the world around them.

What You’ll Do

As an RBT, you’ll work under the guidance of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to provide one-on-one therapy to children. You will:

  • Collaborate with a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans designed to help children build essential skills in the home, community, or school setting.
  • Use play-based and structured teaching techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Encourage positive behaviors and help children learn effective ways to manage challenges.
  • Track progress by collecting data and providing feedback to the supervising BCBA.
  • Support families and school personnel by helping them understand and reinforce strategies that empower their child.

Who You Are

You don’t need prior experience in ABA therapy—just a passion for helping children thrive. We’ll provide all the training and support you need to become an excellent RBT. You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Are patient, compassionate, and motivated to make a difference.
  • Enjoy working with children and celebrating small but meaningful victories.
  • Are a strong communicator who can work closely with a team and families.
  • Are eager to learn and develop your skills in behavior therapy.
  • Want to be part of a team that values your work and supports your growth.
